#BRINGEMBACK : NIKE HYPERFLIGHT

... listen, the weekend has began so I can  I was home being reminiscent on all the good pairs of footwear that we used to get back in the early  1990s and 2000s (for most of you younger folk) that maybe some of you were too young to remember or wasn't old enough to work at a job to get the money to buy a pair. I remember when the Nike Hyperfuse released in my 8th-9th grade Summer, only the rich youth and Top Ball Players at my local park owned  pairs... I'm talking bout the Oh-Gee-Well-Respected B-Ball players that actually wore their Retro Jordan's and Nike's to play ball in, not to flaunt when they were bout to touch the movies and shxt. True Ballers...

I can also reflect on a few of the Nike ad-campaigns and commercials.. right around the time when the infamous Nike Basketball Freestyle/Breakdance commercial came out (..watch below). I promise you, I possibly learned every trick on that commercial. The video became so popular and even ended up on 106 & Park for a few weeks, when streetball was at an all-time high and becoming marketable to the public. I demanded to own a pair of these Hyperflights... all Yellow specifically, but never had the paper to purchase and definitely wasn't even old enough to find a job to work the money for em. Complete struggle back then. Years later, these are still on my bucket list for my collection and few of you might have the same emotions. So... if there's any Nike Rep's out there reading my personal opinions on footwear and fashion, please... RETRO THE HYPERFUSE !!! Don't make any subtle changes to em.. don't add no crazy Air Max 360 sole unit to em or make em into some Fusion type sneaker like you have been with all the signature lines (i.e. Rodmans, Griffeys, etc).. DO NOT fxck up these classics. Release them in the cleanest colors possible and keep it as simple as you did before.

Expect some more #BringEmBack posts in the near future my friends... (these are not my photos btw). #shoutout to SP/JM/DFY
